The Golden Swan

The Golden Swan

In 1995, Norwegian artist Hans Christian Ostrø is abducted in Kashmir by the militant group al-Faran and held hostage for five weeks. During captivity, he secretly writes poems and letters to his sister, filmmaker Anette Ostrø. Recovered after his execution, these writings form the emotional core of the film, which explores artistic identity, moral resilience, and forgiveness.
